Webacy review

API for business · API

Verdict. A Web3 risk-intelligence API: its address endpoint returns an overall risk number with categories and tags such as sanctions, hacks or DPRK links, on 14 networks (13 of those we track), including TON and Solana but not TRON. Prices appear only after sign-in, and its consumer app DD.xyz now rates stablecoins and vaults rather than checking addresses, so it is not scored.

Use with care. Webacy’s prices are shown only after you sign in, its privacy policy names no company (only its app footer says “Webacy Inc.”), and its consumer app DD.xyz no longer offers a simple address check. Look-alike domains such as dapp.webacy[.]app and webacy[.]cloud are on the ScamSniffer blocklist; the real app is at dapp.webacy.com. We found no reports of fraud by Webacy itself. Is Webacy legit? Official links and fakes

Webacy is run by a named company: Webacy Inc., location not stated (named only in the footer of its DD.xyz app). Our scam vetting of 13 Oct 2026 — operator, regulator lists, security reports, complaints and whether it asks for a wallet connection — found no reports of fraud. We still add a “use with care” note: see the top of this review. Status at our automatic check of 4 Nov 2026: couldn’t check. Look-alike sites and bots using its name do exist, so open it only from its official website. The real service only needs a public address — anything asking for a seed phrase, a wallet connection or a signature is fake.

Found on public phishing lists (MetaMask, ScamSniffer; checked automatically every 3 days): 2 look-alike sites, such as dapp[.]webacy[.]app, webacy[.]cloud.

  • dapp.webacy[.]app and webacy[.]cloud imitate Webacy and are on the ScamSniffer blocklist. Webacy’s app is at dapp.webacy.com. ScamSniffer blocklist
Scammers copy AML brands with look-alike sites and Telegram bots. Open a service only from its official website, never connect a wallet or sign a transaction to “check” it, and ignore anyone who offers to recover lost crypto in its name. Live list of fake AML checkers

FAQ

Can I check a wallet on DD.xyz?

DD.xyz now opens Webacy’s app, which rates stablecoins, real-world-asset tokens and DeFi vaults. Address risk checks are offered through Webacy’s API.

Does Webacy check TRON addresses?

Not through its address-risk API: TRON is not among the chains that endpoint accepts, and its docs list TRON with limited support.

Does Webacy ask for a seed phrase?

It should not, and a real AML check never needs one — only a public address. Any bot or site using this name that asks for a seed phrase or a wallet connection is fake.

Can Webacy guarantee my exchange won’t freeze funds?

No service can. Exchanges and stablecoin issuers use their own data and rules. A low score lowers the risk; it is not a guarantee.

A high risk score is a reason to look closer, not proof of a crime. A low score does not guarantee that an exchange or issuer will not freeze funds.
