FAQ

Is there a completely free AML check?

Yes. PublicAML offers free checks with no account, and USDTBanList offers a free basic check for USDT on TRON and Ethereum — both carry a “use with care” note on their reviews. Several paid services also give new users one or more free checks.

What do I lose with a free check?

Usually depth: fewer networks, no PDF report, no named data sources, or an anonymous operator. For a large transfer or a dispute with an exchange, a paid report from an identifiable company carries more weight.

Is a free USDT blacklist check the same as an AML check?

No. A blacklist check only tells you whether Tether or Circle already froze the address. An AML check looks at where the funds came from.
