Bitrace review
Verdict. A Hong Kong address and transaction screening service for businesses, with unusually detailed public docs: a 0–100 model score in four bands, a per-risk-type breakdown and transaction-hash screening. Full scoring covers Bitcoin, Ethereum, TRON and BNB Chain; most other networks get address labels only. Prices are on request, so it is not scored.
Why it is not scored yet
Our score needs a published price, a confirmed network list and a documented report format. Missing for Bitrace: no published price. Below is how it would do on each criterion with what we could verify.
Free checks. Missing: no published price, subscription terms not stated and price list not public.
4 of the 10 core networks are confirmed in its own docs: Bitcoin, Ethereum, TRON and BNB Chain. Polygon, Arbitrum, Solana, TON, Litecoin and XRP Ledger are only claimed elsewhere (half a point each).
Numeric risk score, breakdown by risk category and transaction-hash checks. Missing: PDF report not verified.
Operator named (BITRACE LIMITED) and says it uses its own attribution data.
No wallet connection — you only paste an address. Missing: account required for the first check.
Available via API and Web.

Supported networks
Its support matrix gives full scoring (model score plus strategy rules) only for Bitcoin, Ethereum, TRON and BNB Chain; Polygon, Avalanche, Arbitrum and Optimism get a model score with rules still pending, and Solana, TON, Litecoin, XRP and others get address labels only. “Not verified” = claimed outside its docs; “Not supported” = not listed anywhere we looked.

Is Bitrace legit? Official links and fakes
Bitrace is run by a named company: BITRACE LIMITED, Hong Kong (governing law and arbitration seat in its user agreement; its FAQ says the service is hosted in Hong Kong). Our scam vetting of 13 Oct 2026 — operator, regulator lists, security reports, complaints and whether it asks for a wallet connection — found no reports of fraud. Status at our automatic check of 4 Nov 2026: working. The real service only needs a public address — anything asking for a seed phrase, a wallet connection or a signature is fake.

FAQ
Which networks does Bitrace score?
Its support matrix gives the full model score and strategy rules for Bitcoin, Ethereum, TRON and BNB Chain. Polygon, Avalanche, Arbitrum and Optimism get a model score with rules pending; Solana, TON, Litecoin, XRP and 19 other networks get address labels only.
Can I try Bitrace for free?
Its quickstart says a first account application comes with a free trial, and a separate free query tool allows 10 queries a day after you sign up with an email address.
Does Bitrace ask for a seed phrase?
It should not, and a real AML check never needs one — only a public address. Any bot or site using this name that asks for a seed phrase or a wallet connection is fake.
Can Bitrace guarantee my exchange won’t freeze funds?
No service can. Exchanges and stablecoin issuers use their own data and rules. A low score lowers the risk; it is not a guarantee.
