AML check on Conflux
Conflux is a layer 1 with two spaces: Core Space uses cfx: addresses and eSpace uses Ethereum-style 0x addresses. Both pay fees in CFX.
Before checking or sending, confirm which space an address belongs to: Conflux docs say CFX cannot be sent directly from a cfx: address to a 0x address, and moves between spaces go through the cross-space bridge. Make sure your AML checker supports the specific space you use.
Services that check Conflux
How to check a Conflux address
- Get the public addressAsk your counterparty for the address they will send from — or copy it from the incoming transaction.
- Pick a service that covers ConfluxChoose one marked “Supported” in the list above. Ask the sender or exchange whether they use Core Space or eSpace: a cfx:... address is always Core Space, while a 0x... address could be eSpace or the hex form of a Core address.
- Run the check and read itDon't paste a cfx: address into an Ethereum-only tool. Conflux docs warn the formats are easy to confuse, and the same key usually gives different addresses on Conflux Core and Ethereum.
Conflux specifics
- Conflux runs two 'spaces' on one shared ledger: Core Space (the original Conflux network) and eSpace (an Ethereum-compatible space); one block can carry transactions from both, each space keeps its own accounts and contracts, and both use CFX to pay fees.[1]
- Moving CFX from Core Space to eSpace is a single step through the built-in CrossSpaceCall contract, while moving it back takes two steps: send it to your Core account's linked ('mapped') eSpace address, then withdraw it from Core Space.[2]
- Conflux uses a 'Tree-Graph' ledger in which each block points to one parent plus other recent blocks, so blocks made at the same time are kept rather than thrown away, letting the network produce up to about 2 blocks per second.[3]
- In Core Space, a third party (the contract owner or anyone else) can pay the gas and storage fees for calls to a specific smart contract; this sponsorship applies only to contracts, not to ordinary transfers between personal accounts.[4]
Common risks on Conflux
FAQ
What's the difference between a cfx: address and a 0x address on Conflux?
A cfx: address is a Core Space address in base32 format (CIP-37), with a network prefix and an 8-character checksum. A 0x address with 40 hex characters is the Ethereum-style format used in eSpace (chain ID 1030); Core Space addresses also have a hex form starting 0x1 (user) or 0x8 (contract). Both are on the same network and use CFX, but you can't send CFX directly from a cfx: address to a 0x address.
How do I move CFX between Core Space and eSpace?
Through Conflux's cross-space bridge (ConfluxHub Space Bridge), which uses the built-in CrossSpaceCall contract. Core Space to eSpace is one step. eSpace to Core Space is two steps: send CFX to your Core account's mapped eSpace address, then withdraw it from Core Space.
Is there native USDT or USDC on Conflux?
As of 4 October 2026, Conflux is not on Tether's list of supported blockchains or on Circle's list of blockchains with native USDC. So any USDT or USDC you see on Conflux is not issued natively there by Tether or Circle. Check what the token actually is before relying on it.
How do I check a Conflux address for AML risk?
Copy the public address, open one of the services listed above that supports Conflux, and run the check. You never need a seed phrase or private key.
What does “Not verified” mean?
The service claims support somewhere — in marketing copy or a third-party page — but its own docs, pricing or FAQ do not list the network. Treat it as unknown.
